approach & mission

the wedding experience

let’s begin here…

You are probably here because you’re getting married in the near(ish) future—so first of all, congratulations!! Being engaged is one of the most exciting seasons, so cherish it. It will fly by, and before you know it, you will be married.

Planning a wedding can be stressful, especially in the beginning phases of making, what seems to be, ALL the biggest decisions about your big day. Choosing a photographer can be one of those decisions that has  millions of choices, so it is important for you to find a photographer that you feel connected to. After all, your photographer will be the one spending the most important day of your life with you! So it is important to make sure they are someone you enjoy and feel comfortable with!

my approach to your big day…

My approach to photography is photo journalistic—capturing the real elements of your relationship, documenting the amazing memories of your day, and some of the moments that you might miss. My mission for your day is simple: to encourage you to not fear the imperfections of the day, especially the things that are out of your control anyway. If it rains, let’s go run around in it! Let’s embrace the mess and spontaneity. This is what draws out the meaningful memories and creates the special photographs that are unique to your day.

your experience should be catered to YOU.

I do not want to be just another vendor on your wedding day. I want to get to know you. Each couple is so unique, so there should not be a “one size fits all” to wedding photography. I love embracing the nature of my couples to document their story through real moments, nothing forced.

Maggie was the best wedding photographer that I could have ever asked for. Our pictures turned out amazing and she made the day even brighter. We are so grateful we had her take our pictures and be a part of our wedding day.
